The Pilot Club of St. Lucie County also supports our seniors including Alzheimers patients at a local assisted living facility. Our members visit the patients monthly to honor those having a birthday with Birthday Cards and lap robes that are made by one of our members. The club also contributes durable hand made bibs for the residents. In the past, the club has purchased large items for the facility such as games the residents can play to help with their therapy.

Our club also works closely with the Children and Family Services George W. Truit Child Development Center. We provide Halloween Bags, a Christmas Party with Santa, gifts and toys, cookies and punch, and Easter Baskets for these needy Children.
The Pilot Club of St. Lucie County is working closely with local children teaching safety for the prevention of brain injuries. This program, "BrainMinders" has been developed by the Pilot International Foundation and is a multi-level education program designed to teach children the ways to protect their brain. This program uses hand puppets with elaborate scripts in conjunction with coloring books to teach young children in a fun way that they should remember to play safe and play smart.
Our club also supports College Scholarship house residents at Florida State, The University of Florida and Florida Gulf Coast University. We award a scholarship to a graduating Senior from St. Lucie County each Spring. We also donate dog and cat food and cat litter to local animal shelters and provide support to our military personnel with cards and care packages.
