Recent Events

Anita and Barbara attended the Pilot International Convention in Louisville Kentuck July 7 - 10 at the Galt House. The elected officers and adopted bylaws and the budget for the current year during business meetings. Barbara went to dinner at Churchill Downs on Millionaire Row. The final event of the convention was the installation of the 2010-2011 officers.

Great news for our club. We have met a teacher at Lincoln Park Academy who has offered to be the sponsor for an Anchor club at the school. We are planning an informational meeting in mid-September and an organizational meeting at the end of September. Anchor Clubs are service organizations in schools sponsored by Pilot Clubs. Our annual dinner dance will be September 11 at the Fort Pierce Elks Club. Tickets are $35 which includes dinner, dancing and alot of fun. Social hour at 6 dinner at 7 then dance until 12 midnight. The theme is the 70's. Come dressed for the occasion.
