Recent Events
January 8th we served meatball sandwiches at Spanish Lakes Country Club Happy Hour. We served a sandwich, chips and a pickle for $4.00 each. Our net profit was $399.00. Great job everyone!
On February 21st we held our second and last Spaghetti Dinner of the year. It was also held at Spanish Laked Country Club. Tickets were sold for $10 each and included, spaghetti, meatballs, garlic bread, salad, desert, and coffee and/or tea. Guests could bring their own wine to accompany their meal. We served approximately 200 people and our net profit was almot $1500.00.
Our Projects:
This year our members have purchased cat food for the county shelter, given Christmas goodie bags to resident's at two local Assisted Living Facilities, we have provided Christmas cookies and punch with Santa at the George W. Truitt ALPI Childrens Center. We will also bring them Easter Goodie bags the week before Easter. We are planning on contributing to the ARC of St. Lucie County's building fund. We have also sent gift cards to the residents of Pilot Scholarship house at FSU and Florida. We purchased 30 lunch vouchers for veterans that ride the bus down to VA.
